Branding a sustainable community based energy project

Bringing community based projects together with financial backing is always hard. Particularly when it is
the community that is approaching
the business. We worked with Energy Saving Trust to develop the second phase of their project Ynni’r Fro,
which is centred around developing sustainable community based energy projects. Allowing the community
to use the resources around them
to develop energy for their homes
as well as selling energy back to
the National grid.

The Ynni’r Fro project allows these community groups to find out whether their proposed project could be feasible and if so what is the best way to develop the project. We worked to develop a clean and crisp brand language that would gives a sense
of confidence for the community
groups as well as the partnerships
with businesses and landowners
who will need to be on board make
the project a success.
